The National Law Journal Names Lesley Weaver a 2018 Plaintiffs' Lawyer Trailblazer
The National Law Journal has named BFA Partner Lesley Weaver to the 2018 list of Plaintiffs' Lawyers Trailblazers. After reviewing hundreds of applications from attorneys who have "made significant marks on the practice, policy, and technological advancements in their sector," NLJ chose 25 attorneys who have "shown a deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their mission, having achieved remarkable successes along the way."
NLJ acknowledged Lesley's desire to connect to her work, highlighting her work on the Volkswagen emissions fraud, which led to her appointment to the Fiat emissions case, and to being the first to file a complaint related to the 20-year collusion by German auto manufacturers. As she continues to blaze the trail through plaintiffs' work, Lesley and the Firm look forward to driving opportunities for private enforcement on behalf of their clients.
