Facebook Loses Bid to Appeal Privacy Ruling

Judge Chhabria denied Facebook's request to immediately appeal to the Ninth Circuit his ruling allowing Facebook users to proceed in their case alleging that Facebook mishandled plaintiffs' personal information when it granted third parties such as Cambridge Analytica access to their content and data without plaintiffs' knowledge or consent.
