BFA Partner Anne Davis to Speak at the California Lawyers Association’s 2025 Consumer and Unfair Competition Law Institute

On January 31, 2025, BFA Partner Anne Davis will serve as a panelist alongside Dr. Jennifer King and Daniel Goldberg at the California Lawyers Association’s Annual Consumer and Unfair Competition Law Institute. They will discuss “Artificial Intelligence and Consumer Protection,” and will cover topics including various threats that AI poses to consumers, potential government and private legal actions to which those threats may give rise (including under California’s Unfair Competition Law), and steps businesses can take to avoid harming consumers and end up in legal trouble. The conference will also feature programs on cutting edge issues including government enforcement priorities, changes in the law, and other key topics in consumer and unfair competition law.
