BFA Appointed Co-Lead Counsel in Boeing Derivative Litigation
On March 20, 2025, Vice Chancellor Morgan T. Zurn of the Delaware Court of Chancery appointed Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, and Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System as Lead Plaintiffs and BFA as Co-Lead Counsel in a derivative lawsuit. The action alleges that the company’s board of directors and senior management breached their fiduciary duties by failing to implement and oversee safety and compliance functions that led to systemic quality issues with Boeing aircraft.
Bloomberg Law featured BFA Partner Derrick Farrell in an article about the ongoing litigation, “These are not firms that settle cheap,” Derrick told Vice Chancellor Zurn.
BFA looks forward to vigorously litigating the claims on behalf of Boeing's shareholders.
