Background: In re: Allstate & Arity Consumer Privacy Litigation seeks redress from Allstate and its data analytics subsidiary, Arity, for their unlawful harvesting of consumer data through mobile apps, use of such consumer data to increase policyholders’ insurance rates, as well as the sale of such consumer data to other auto insurers and third parties.
